Hi George,

I don't necessarily see procrastination as a bad thing. I think it might depend on the person.

I have quite a busy schedule even though most of my work is freelance. But I manage to fit in plenty of things like canoe trips, gardening, etc... I've found that it isn't always "time-effective" to do certain tasks when I don't feel like it... and sometimes it's just better to use a nice day to throw the canoe on the truck and head off for a paddling trip. If I do that, I often find that I'm willing to crack down and work really hard on a rainy day. Also, the kind of work that I do just doesn't "happen" when I'm not in the right mood. I can get 4 or 5 times the amount of work finished when I "feel like it" and don't have to force myself to do something.

I guess that the trick is in knowing if you're the kind of person who can take advantage of the procrastination thing. I do that by NOT procrastinating when I start to feel like doing something... I just do it before the mood moves on...
