Well, they've burned through another CFO and it's never a good thing when the CFO resigns.

Well the first thing that came to my mind when I saw that is cowpie is up to something. Just a wild guess but I bet he is stuffing the channels again just like before and they are going to report record Linux sales. I'm just guess but whatever he is up to the CFO doesn't like it and is doing the honorable ethical thing and resigning.

I'd like to respond to "Macfearsome" by saying there is plenty good about CORL. I can't believe his comments haven't caused a flood of responses. For starters, there are 20 million PC motherboards to be loaded with CORL in 2000. And what about stealing the show and the awards at Comdex? Has everyone forgotten that CORL's been touted by several sources as having the best Linux GUI for the desktop. Just this week, CNET ranked CORL's Linux OS above all others and said it was downloaded from CNET more than all others combined. On the fundamentals side, there's last year's turnaround to profitability, which has sustained itself, and CORL's other software products, Wordperfect and Draw, et al, which have received strong recognition for recent updates.

There is a lot going on with CORL, and I'm not real concerned or surprised about the management shakeup. I don't know the details of why this CFO is resigning, but it probably is not as bad for CORL as it is perceived at this moment. Sometimes people just want to move on. If I weren't already fully positioned in CORL (long), I'd be jumping in. I'll admit I'm disappointed my daytrade has turned into a hold, but I think we've not seen the end of CORL's push.

BTW, isn't there a big Linux conference coming up? That may be interesting.
