Don't you think you're taking the Intel defender role a little too seriously? Certainly not in the spirit of this thread.
These Engineers are taught to joust, question, in the end this is good because a more complete understanding of the pros and cons of a design, per se, are realized...even corrected. This is much the scientific method.
