Yes, Jesus showed that he could lose his temper. What you have listed are his agitated responses to those he saw as either slipping away or evil. The most of his teachings were done in a very calm and peaceful manner. That is all I ask of you. As I have said, you could be a powerful instrument in bringing those teetering on the brink into the Christian fold if you could but be a little more gentle in your approach. Those that do not have the faith are nervous and afraid of making a move to a position in which they are not familiar. Encouragement in the promises of Jesus seem to be more appropriate than the threats of God for the novice. As a new Christian grows in the faith, he will soon enough learn the rules that must not be broken and will cause him to be punished. He will have learned that fair warning is given of the rules and the punishments that can be expected in the breaking of them. It is my opinion that ore must be found, and taken from the dirt before it can be refined into gold.
