I can't figure out how Andy Kaufman warrants a GREAT Rem song and a Jim Carrey movie - go figure.

I forgot there was something I wanted to mention to you after you posted that million dollar Saratoga house picture. I think you said you picked that up from the Michael Burke thread... I think the MB thread and the myth thread have a similar (bearish) disposition.

I don't know what the context was as to why they posted that house... but I'm afraid somebody might have used it to justify their bearish position over there. Fwiw, even though this economy out here is a bubble - there are other factors weighing on real estate here, one huge thing is the laws, also we are totally land-locked, there are only maybe 3 decent school districts (Saratoga is one, Palo Alto, etc.) - also a result of the tax code, which makes those few cities even extreme FOR HERE.

So posting a picture like that to justify a bearish position is kind of lying with statistics I would say - you can't even extrapolate that result out to the state of California much less the entire US. The poster may not have known all the nuances... ok, but you know how those bear threads are... a little bit of tunnel vision going on.

I never liked him either and I got it. "It" was not funny. It was making fun of our presumed stupidity. I don't like Jim Carey either. So, its ok with me if Carey plays Kaufman in a movie.
