I find Z to be a a very knowledgeable contributor to the disk drive discussion board. However his rants against DSS do certainly appear out of character, perhaps more appropriate to Raging Bull or Yahoo.

I appreciate negative comments when I am long (which I am with DSS) as a counterbalance to the blinkers I may wear regarding a stock. But I could do without the rants.

What a load of crap. I don't recall which press release you are referring to but, before you bank on it, I'd call Quantum and ask if they stand behind that statement and exactly what they mean by qualify. Better yet, call Compaq and tell them you want to buy a SDLT. -Z
