The MergeARK medical image information server is a member of the MergeWorks suite of products that leverage powerful industry standard technologies such as Linux, Java, DICOM, HL-7 and the Internet to provide significant workflow integration and information management improvements for the healthcare industry. It will be a major boost in productivity for the engineering team." Some of the installations will also include the newest version of CD-R libraries from Pioneer, the DRM-7000. These libraries will store approximately 670 CDs at a time and will provide data storage of over 400 gigabytes. The libraries can easily be upgraded to use DVD media later this year for an increase in storage capacity to over three terabytes.
