"Merge Technologies brings medical imaging up to speed with its networking products. The company provides hardware, software, and systems integration products and services that allow communication between incompatible systems such as X-ray, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and magnetic resonance imaging devices. Products also allow health care facilities to combine all of a patient's images into a single electronic record. Merge Technologies' systems are used in more than 1,000 health care facilities throughout the world. The company markets its products to OEMs, VARs, retail distributors, and end users.

Scheduled for IPO the week of 1/26/98.
