Stitch - you don't get it at all.

MXTR showed almost no response to the news because trading was halted! It's well over 7 after hours. Percentage-wise this will be no contest tomorrow. Almost certainly enough to set off a huge short squeeze. And then there are those huge options positions. Amazing timing.

The MXTR news story didn't come out until after market today, and WDC for one was up in after hours trading.
I'm sure it will be far from ignored tomorrow. In fact I want to buy more if I can get more at near these prices.

Stitch,
Any idea whether other companies actually raised prices? Wonder if HDD did the same? Seems SEG's profit upside might be more limited by y2k issues imacting enterprise drives.
Hope this doesn't deter Fujitsu from exiting the desktop.
HAS anyone heard how WDC is doing this quarter? Times of shortage are probably good for repairing damaged relations with customers. -Z
