From conversations I have had it sounds like they plan on cashing in right away and rolling the money over.

There may be the possibility that JDX is obliged to hold for a period after the IPO (eg:6 months). I believe this is not uncommon but I'm not sure. I guess it will depend on what the contractual agreement stipulated. Regardless, a hot launch is what we need and indications are that it will be. If it launches like Healtheon, a six month hold would be a godsend. It launched very well, was in a holding pattern for a couple of months then took off again BIG time. I know because I wanted to get in but procrastinated and watched to my horror the whole thing explode with me sitting open mouthed on the sidelines saying "woulda coulda shoulda".

gordant,

What they do with their shares will probably depend on the scenery when they reach that first bridge (when they are allowed to sell). They may have some inside scoop at that time that will tell them whether their money is best left there or taken off the table. They may sell some, but not all.

With Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley on board, it just about guarantees this thing will rocket. Those are gold-plated names. I wonder who the lead underwriter will be.
