Chuck, hows this for an AMD Press Release:

AMD does not announce when new microprocessor speed grades begin sampling to our OEM customers because this might reduce demand for their current products. AMD announces new products when they are available for sale in production quantities at a specified price. Our OEM customers are currently evaluating samples of Athlon processors at several speed grades above the released 750 MHz Athlon.

I think this would be a classy response to an unclassy act and it would be viewed favorably by the street.

LATER EDIT: perhaps leave out the last sentence but leak the information that 800-900 MHz samples have been shipped.
