In TDM, circuit switched stuff, I agree, but I had the
perception that Nortel was so advanced and owned the
SONET/SDH transmission space that it did'nt need any more
technology. OR, was it that Nortel needed the talent to
replace those that have left ??

Those Nortel bought in QTERA are now multi-millionaires many
times over. It is keeping Florida green. Here's a snippet
