Ahhh, it's nice to have references again. I like Amazon. Sze's "Modern Semiconductor Device Physics" has a whole chapter on HBT's.

I wonder why InP is faster than GaAs? InP has smaller electron and hole mobilities. I need to do more homework, it's been awhile <g>.

As an aside, a buddy of mine sent me a paper that he did on a TeraHertz mixer. What's this world coming to? <gg>

I'll go dig around in TRW's sites. I doubt they'll pull a CNXT, though <g>.

Check the InP HBT and HEMT foundry services at the bottom of the page TBD. Hmmm....

Another interesting tidbit from the 69 GHz release:

I assume that is because of air's dielectric constant.

Anyway, it looks like that they don't want to make, market and sell commercial product as much as they want to make money off other people who do. I guess we should watch the folks who use their foundries or license their tech.
