Jan Jan Jan.... now we have to talk, Yes, Compaq sold you a piecer.... does that mean that all Compaq's are piecers (notwithstanding that Intel builds most of these machines anyway - including DELL's). No. Does it mean that if you had bought a peicer from DELL that they would have handled it differently? NO. If you buy a shit car from a dealer they don't replace it either...... You're just bitter that you got a crap machine..and you know what... you should be.. that sucks. i would be pissed. But remember that all these machines come with a motherboard, disk drive, hard disk, etc.. that are all manufactured at Intel and then "modified" by the DELL's, CPQ's, GTW's of the world. CPQ got screwed too.... OK.. I'm done. OG crawls down off the soapbox :)
