I disagree. Charts lie all the time. They're one area where beauty (or ugliness) is truly in the eye of the beholder.

Another way to look at the recent price action: On every day since the split, SUNW closed above the price immediately prior to the split, and on only one of those days did it ever drop below that final pre-split close.

From that, wouldn't you conclude that it's incredibly strong for a post-split period?

(IMHO)

Forget Y2K problems, unless you are one of those kooks who plans to stock up on bottled water and empty the ATM machine. It will be a non event. The tech and finance companies are prepared, and the educated public cares about nothing more than finding a great bottle of Champagne and spare asperin and Tums.

Dear Eski: SUNW has just had a tremendous run and now its split. If my memory serves me its typical that it takes a breather for a bit but after that look out, should jump fast. I anticipate earnings in excess of consensus which in and of itself is unusual, SUNW usually guides the analysts pretty close, if I am right I expect a nice jump when earnings come out. Also, Y2K doesnt APPEAR to be a problem, BUT if it were I would think it would only offer MORE opportunity for SUNW to sell its products?? JDN
