Money may leave US markets, and the Fed will take back the liquidity they poured in to hedge against Y2K, but there may also be a lot of money that is on the sidelines due to Y2K that may pour back into the markets, so it may be a zero sum game in January. Y2K is a real wild card, and what is worrying me a bit now is that everyone seems to think it is over.
