The hopeful but sceptical question and analysis is greeted by the hypocrites with calls of "witch" and "heretic" and "long live COMPAQ, our Most Holy God" There are none more hypocritical than the sceptics who dish out "critical analysis" while continuing to load the boat with shares. jajajajaja El

Victor -
Everybody else has said or implied that they wished they had sold in the past or they will sell given this or that future condition.

In a last weak attempt to tie out the Shakspearean thread -
"Of all the wonders that I yet have seen, it seems to me most strange that investors should fear to sell, seeing that selling, a necessary end, will come when it will come..."

LOL!! Vic-- that was great. Your time well spent. Besides Michael, NW has plans for at least another year. I sincerly hope it is out of the 20s by then but would not bet heavily on it. No matter what anyones time frame it would seem they would expect an increase in share price. We have seen a SLIGHT RECOVERY but no increase at all. <<"so they try banishment - "sell your COMPAQ shares".">> for this reason alone I may hold 1K just for the fun of it and t6hat amount is not a concern if it trips back into the teens as history indicates will happen. Anyone waiting on CMGI to be priced into this stock is a dreamer. Now if they give up the core, they have not been able to do much with it any way, and become a holding company they would probably still fail. Knowing when to buy but giving away gems and holding others for the eventual fall makes as little sense as keeping buckets of cash to a holding company,,, Yes, I refuse to genuflect to the CPQ gods since they have produced, while mkts and techs run for years, nothing but negative returns and seem as effective as the boars head you mentioned. Too bad as MC can speak and could ralley investors to the stock. As El USED to say, "if he had anything good to say...". At least AAPL may give them some assistance with name recognition. People thinking of the i-Mac will get a I-paq instead... sales may rise LOL!!!
