My dear, after reading this posting, may I say that you also are "putting yourself down" when you claim that you are incapable of contributing substantively to threads such as "feelies" and Rambi. Stuff and nonsense, as your own postings on this thread illustrate better than any descriptor I could find for them. I am still reading and thinking about some of the things you have said about longevity and the quality of life. Having buried my mother, three uncles, and one of my closest friends all in the past five years, I think about these questions--especially since I too live alone.
