Being touted as the next KANA, but I sure can't see it.

Sue
one of the reasons that ESHR, and others of its ilk, run like that when the mo mo's hit it is the low float

if you are thinking short I'd suggest going in real small, then cut that size in half

I got hurt on some of those in Oct, so am picking my spots real close lately

SIII is a good example
it ran Thur on some bogus "news"
then in after hours trading it hit 12 and your could short as many shares as you wanted right up to 8 pm
opened friday in the 10's and closed at 10
it has 64mm shares outstanding
so that 12 run was an early xmas gift
no way would that 12 price hold during "normal" trading hours

you might consider a "safe" short like HD
it's a great company but my bet is it fades off 100 after 1/1 when people sell to take profits without a 1999 tax hit
plus with a NYSE stock you can put in a Stop Buy Order in case it wants to go higher

KNOT
looks like a possible base
I added and flipped a bit on friday
quiet period ends I think 12/27
may do 5000 for the Z on Monday
may have 10-50% in it before Y2K
(I hope)

grandkids coming over tonight for a jama party and to put up the tree
maybe that will help me get over selling my 10k+ shares of KSWS 3+ points ago
at least I won my $10 bet with Larry on KSWS 18 before year end

Susan, I don't want to discourage you from shorting ESHR, but I'm a little surprised that you're going to short a stock based on an outdated profile description of the company (from yahoo) and lack of understanding of what's going on with the company. You may want to visit the ESHR thread for some useful info.

Regards,

Tom
