Bearshark, I want to make sure that I understand your market view.

In order, you are expecting:
1. A 2-week or so drop in the Dow to around 10700 accompanied by bad volume and bad breadth, thus creating a short-term oversold condition;
2. A rally well into the 1st quarter of 2000 to around 12500 to 13000 Dow;
3. Then the final topping out phase of the secular bull market, with a decline in the 2nd quarter;
4. A rally in the 3rd quarter;
5. And a nasty leg down in November.
6. And << if the above comes to pass, I should be making money.>>

I commend you on your ability to read the tea-leaves so accurately. Personally, I am delighted to be able to gain some sense of what the market is likely to do in the next half-hour.

But then I guess my goals aren't set very high.

Good luck with your prognostications.
