You might have been totally different in fifth grade had your parents treated you differently when you were two and forming your basic impressions of how to get your needs met. If Edwarda wants to be treated kindly, perhaps she should treat others the same way. Some of her posts to me have been illogical and antagonistic. I am human; I will eventually become snide or sarcastic if I am treated that way. I also got the idea that she was fighting battles for the guys on her "team". Certainly telling Daniel to buzz off when he was discussing something with Neocon, not her, is an example of that. I would certainly like for things around here to be reasonably pleasant, but everyone plays a part in making it that way. Christmas around here is going to be pretty lean. My stocks are doing well, but I am having temporary cash flow problems because my teenager is so expensive, and because we suddenly had to replace our car when the turbo went out. I would rather put money in the market than spend a lot of it on stuff. I would like some mango tea for Christmas, a new bottle of Il Bacio perfume, a Fastball CD, and Natalie Merchant's new live CD. Oh, also Tasamin Day-Lewis' book on cooking in the west of Ireland. I am pretty simple to shop for. Oh, and of course, whirled peas!!!!!!!
