You are the second person to get on the thread seniority kick- it doesn't have anything to do with seniority or deference. Some people one likes, some people one doesn't. I think some of us remember a time when we liked just about everybody here - we look back at that time with some nostalgia. I certainly enjoyed that time- and it is over now. It is ok (imo) that we look back now and then and remember those good times (with some bad mixed in). I mean when it was good here it was REALLY good.

I am speaking only for myself and my interpretation of what Rambi said- she may have meant something totally different.

Well, I've ignored you up to now, Michael. As far as demeaning the "research is bunk" people, if you're talking about me, I've mostly mocked the "research is bunk" line of argument, because except for Neocon, it hasn't addressed the specific research itself, just the very idea of doing research in the area, or social science research in general. So, what can you say to that? Beats me, sarcasm seems as appropriate a response as anything.
