Hansi, Happy Holidays and thanks for the great countdown link. I'm hoping for better weather soon, thinking positive thoughts. Perhaps you could have someone on the pad chalk 909 on side of STS-103, I'm sure we would go then.
Techride's positive energy and plain good luck says lets have a break in the weather and go with STS-103! I'll be watching for lift off and cheering like I do each time if it is a go. I've had "GO fever" since the sixties. heritage.stsci.edu
I've got my small, very special piece of Apollo 11 (Columbia and Eagle) on my desk for good luck. 909S to NASA and all the hard working folks whose work results in our wonder.
909S to the crew.

Hi Hansi,

It is exciting to know a Space Shuttle Team Member! Good luck tomorrow night. I just put my hands on my monitor and chanted, "May the sun shine, 909". I'm feeling really good tonight, so I think it will work!

Hi Hansi and Everyone.... May the Sun Shine, 909!!!

Had to come to the office to use the computer as the one at home is in BIG trouble....even Gateway said they hadn't seen whatever happened happen....something major to do with WIN 95 and WIN 98, a download save to the system in WinZip, and then a crash when saving to disk from WinZip....I am not in charge of the mess...but will have a total fit if it can't get back together...like Humpty Dumpty....Boy, we don't know how reliant we are on our computers till they have their own little fit....

Hansi...Glad to see you posting.... it does seem as if we are even closer to the launch....and to all of the Shuttle Team members....all 22,000 of you! What is interesting to me is that *all* of us on Techride have also a tremendous attachment to Space, and all that is involved with the exploration of it.... Don't think there is anyone here that doesn't have that sense of excitement and awe....

Thanks everyone for all the links....Will have to view them from home --more time then, but will obviously have to wait for a few days for things to be put together again....

And Hansi and BLUE....did you notice something...

Hansi, I guess you will be busy for a while. Thanks for the link and keeping the M3 Techride crew informed. And thanks to NASA for a great launch.
The Broncos whooped Seattle in OT and a few minutes later the ol'...3...2..1, lift off. Life is good (especially when your heart pounds).
KLP is right, it is of note how so many Techriders came together and all had such a strong interest in the heavens. Kind of like "Close Encounters". <VBG>

Hansi, BLUE here speaking for the M3 Techrider Team. I'm sure you are hard at work bringing STS-103 home but I just wanted to let you know that we give NASA, you, all the people who are bringing STS-103 home and the crew of STS-103 a big 909 for luck on her trip home. A 909 took her up and it shall bring her back.
