I neither agree nor disagree with about all the statements made on both sides of this issue. BECAUSE I do not believe there are two sides, a black one and a white one. I feel this is almost totally gray, and it is assuring to have someone, you, at least asknowledge my post

Christine, you have argued we should pass a law banning the spanking of children. Since every law needs enforcement mechanisms in place to ensure compliance. Let me ask you, what punishment do you think should be handed out to a parent who spanks their child?

And to take it one step further, what punishment should be handed out to those parents who refuse to abide by the law and repeatedly spank their kids?
