It doesn't have to be manufacturing problems... It can be a gross miscalculation by Intel. They are having to ship much higher MHZ chips than they had planned at this time, due to the pressure put on by Athlon. They just hadn't planned on having to ramp speed grades this fast... The keys lie in the terms "as expected" and "demand is higher than expected"...everything fits... Jim

Tony - <Thanks for sharing the info re lunch with PB. I hope things are going well for PB, and yourself, and PB can get back here more when the time allows.> Everything is going good. I will be able to be more active on SI in a couple of weeks, just in time to wait for the anticipation before the report card (Q4 earnings). BTW, I'm going to reiterate a theme kash johal indicated after having lunch with Ten: Ten is a very impressive young man. I thoroughly enjoyed making his acquaintance. I hate to post and run, but I really wanted to get the above out. Everyone have a safe and enjoyable Holiday Season. I sure intend to, Great Power Above willing. PB
