Cruise their site--it is chock full of interesting info for QCOM investors. Here is an excerpt from the partner list. Also look at the best list of patents and links I have seen on a website. gbtwireless.com AT&T Laboratory AT&T Laboratory and GBT have formed a strategic alliance to standardize in the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA 46.1), a Wireless ISDN Multimedia System employing GBT's W--CDMA and SS TDMA Technology, referred to as WIMS. This system will use GBT's W-CDMA and SS- TDMA core technologies and GBT will design an ASIC specifically to meet the common air interface requirements for U.S. standardization. The system will be capable of transmitting wire line quality voice and data, at rates up to 2Mbps, with random packets transmitting at rates exceeding 7 Mbps with a 10MHz bandwidth. GBT is currently inviting 3G equipment manufacturers to participate with their Standards team.
