I was in the process of donating a good chunk of Q shares that had taken the ride since last October, to my church which is building a new sanctuary. After finding out that they sell shares immediately that are donated, I quickly picked out another stock to sell and will write them a check for cash. I just couldn't stand to see the potential gains go to waste by having them sell the stock now, when there is so much good news on the nearterm horizon.
