Nixon was punished. He was disbarred although unlike Clinton he had enough integrity to resign. North, Poindexter and others were convicted for what they did in iran Contra although those convictions were eventually overturned on a technicality. They each suffered legal punishments. BTW, it would be impossible to humiliate Clinton. That would imply the man had some sort of moral compass or personal honor. It is obvious that is not true. JLA
