Harry,
Thank you for the link. I wonder, though, if this type of development has implications for LTV. I wonder this since LTV sells equipment to 'classic' broadcasters. It is my understanding--which may be incorrect--that
1. LTV's sales do not go much to internet broadcasters and
2. LTV has little in the pipeline currently for this type of broadcasting.

LTV is running the same risk that the Pullman company ran when the automobile and air passenger service became realities.

Ciao,
David Todtman

Jim O'Donnel- rise in LTV today appears to be related to the recent contract award by Mcgraw Hill, biz.yahoo.com. I have found no other indication as to why the large price gain today. The only other explanation is that the tax loss selling is now over and the the belief that TV stations are soon not going to have a choice but to convert their systems. LTV's boat has to arrive sometime, my guess is that this is the year.
I haven't heard of any analysts upgrades, has anyone else?
Good luck to all.
