PB, re: ZDN article

Thanks for all the good news.

re: "while the 750MHz should be available in quantity, McCrea said."

Hopefully to ship by the end of the quarter.

re: "Supply issues with the company's 700MHz and 733MHz Pentium III chips are no longer present, McCrea added. PC makers said last week the 733MHz chip is now much more readily available than it was in late November."

Wonder how many have/will ship by the end of the quarter?

I beginning to suspect that Intel will report towards the high end of their guidance. This is not in the stock price, IMHO.

re: "You're going to see Intel being much more aggressive in the future," he added.

Also great news, sounds like Intel is pissed off. Bad news for AMD, I would imagine.

Dear Process Boy: I am no computer expert but even I know this processor race is ridiculous. From what I gather at these levels increasing processor speed isnt the answer. What I want to know is the bus speed. When will Rambus be affordable, and if it isnt what is INTC going to do to get above the 100mh bus. speed. I understand AMD comes even now at 200 speed. I wish to buy a new computer in 2,000 but I WANT IT ALL. haha. As I said, I am no expert so if my question is stupid please rearrange it properly. JDN
