OT Farfel, I have seen something about the non-tech summer months before - they dip? Can you confirm/elaborate a bit on that term?

Thanks,
Jeff Smith

You made an excellent point about timing.
I know we cant really time.
But
Tech stocks regularly go through corrections, and Q certainly is no stranger to them.
When short term options are bought, therefore, take your gain when you get it...even if its hours or a few gains...dont regret any gain someone else gets from "your: option.
On long term: try not to buy LEAPS when the Q is having a huge up day. You'll get more leverage by buying during a downturn: have money available in the April-early June period. I havent yet but this year I will.
I agree that leaps are a wonderful sub for owning the stock. Personally I like to own stock too though, if I have a strong positive feeling about the company which I do with Csco Msft HD (surprise!!!!) and of course of course of course Qcom.
