Christine IDC is gonna run like qualcomm. Look at volume last two weeks Institutions buying heavily. Berlin this morning up 5 bucks for 25% increase. Do your DD but don't let this one slip away from you like QCOM did. Even a small position now could pay off beautifully.

Where did you get your information on all this? The high tech industry is in full swing over there, there are so many jobs that Irish young people who have been living in America are moving back, and no one wants jobs in hotels or restaurants so youth from continental Europe are swarming over there. The social climate seems very tolerant, and there are a lot of "out" gays and lesbians as well.

Its from a few years ago, when Oracle set up shop in Dublin and Cork (?) I think. They encouraged the management from here to go there to build the division - there was some brouhaha about difficulty getting birth control, that was how it started. I'm not sure if you just couldn't get birth control period, or doctors won't prescribe it, or you have to go to special pharmacies... or what. Then, after that issue emerged, some general emails went around regarding other concerns people had with living there and rebuttals from some that had actually done it. I'm fairly sure they were accurate depictions but just one person's opinion, you know.

Irrespective of all this... Ireland's somewhat recent past with regards to the treatment of just about everybody, especially women is pretty bleak. Life is a lot easier for the chuch though when you can blame the 17 year old girls for all of society's ills!
