Dan, maybe I'm missing something here. Are you saying you don't observe the Sabbath? God is the one who initiated the Sabbath way back in Genesis. Can you find anywhere in scripture where Jesus ever broke that Sabbath or ever declared it "unconstitutional". Did he ever encourage anyone to forsake the Sabbath? Is he not our example for keeping the Sabbath? You read about the Sabbath everywhere throughout scripture because it is a precedence that God expects us to follow. It is not something that should even be debated. What day is the Sabbath? The early Christians celebrated it from dusk Saturday to dusk Sunday. This was is in recognition of the resurrection vs. the day the Jews observed it. For those Christians who say all days belong to the Lord and as such no special day should be a Sabbath I say Shame on them! America, which likes things fast has a tendency to think that going to Church for two hours on sunday morning fulfills their requirement of observing the Sabbath. WRONG!! Dan do you regularly attend a church? If you do what does your preacher tell you about observing the Sabbath and honoring the Lords house? Chris
