Alex one cannot rely on India for gold as India has much poverty. With poverty there is a dooms day feeling and as India progresses i fear that they too will shift to relying on currency more than gold.
India might tend to become more tech oriented. Presently I know of at least one corporation here who is subletting work out to India and operating on a twenty four hour base via the net's communication ability.
My own question is relates to a point in time when there wer numerous high flying radio stocks about two survived. I have not researched this yet to a time frame. As ever my concern is and shall remain due to the FEDS very liquid money flow that we are devaluing the dollar at to great a rate. History states inflation is part of the economy but there is no period in history i know of that can compare the populous we have to day, plus the number of individuals in the market and the amount of cash that is indirectly tied into the market.
It is going to be very difficult to maintain intellectual superiority in a tech era. To assume other nations are not going to be able too outshine is ridiculous in my opinion.

The growth of our nation was partially due to more opportunity and why some people came here. Why in blazes would you leave your own nation to come here when the opportunity and perhaps more profit can be generated from home. You still have political reasons but most people live in communities regardless of the political climate.

The trouble with this sort of article Alex is that it ignores the thrust of the announcement by the 15 CBs - which drove the price up - also Congress has shown itself to be anti the original IMF proposal. So it seems to me that the conspiracy types seize only on one side of this issue and ignore any evidence to the contrary. I find myself wanting to believe some of this stuff - but keep balking when I see so many one sided articles.
