Except for the questionable use of the negative word "stole", Del's post was accurate; Christianity intentionally chose to use many pagan connections and rituals to make the new religion more palatable and comfortable for the new converts... I think it's fascinating and have no problem hearing about it. Really it was pretty clever of them. I think the thread has gotten pretty boring with all the Season's Greetings yada yada this morning as it seems to be being done with an in your face, take that, nasty unbelievers attitude. Actually Feelings has ALWAYS had religious discussion. SOmetimes very heated, so I don't think Del is out of place at all, anymore than all this Clinton namecalling is.
