LOL--- and we are going to be very sorry--others have tried, and their skulls leer at us as we examine the trunk.
Alexander mentioned Campbell-- I have several of his books- and have dabbled a little in Jung and Frazier- and am a strong believer in the universality of myths. To me there is a great comfort in the way we seem to meet our needs with such remarkably similar symbolic stories.
There does seem to be at the bottom of it all, SOME kind of consistent moral structure.
But I will be the first to admit I'm a poet, not a thinker.

I have been reminded several times by my daughter of a story I once told my children. You can take a beautiful Rose and pull
all of the petals away and make it ugly. I think that is appropriate here.
