nice guy, re: AMD disappointment

Again, from the perspective of a casual observer.

-This is a very difficult industry.
-Manufacturing execution is critical.
-AMD has a history of execution problems.
-Intel, in it's efforts to push the envelope, has had several setbacks.
-Intel has at least 10 times the financial and human resources as AMD.
-The pressure is on and increasing, for Intel, but EVEN MORE so for AMD, as Intel intensifies it's focus on the speed race.

This quarter MAY be wonderful for AMD, I hope it is. But sooner or later, AMD is almost 100% sure to slip, trip, and fumble the ball.
