I agree with the people who don't want Christian hymns to be sung in the Parthenon. There are movements all over Europe to get back in touch with the ancient religions. The fastest growing religion in England is Druidism, for example, and Catholicism is fading in Ireland very rapidly. When you look at the harsh way in which Christianity became dominant in Europe, certainly it is understandable that some who do not believe in it and want their special places to represent their own belief systems.

I wouldn't dream of invading a Christian church and doing a moon dance ritual. I think people should give each other the space and respect that their religious beliefs are due.
