I have not posted that people should avoid the topic of religion on Feelies. Like some political topics, it can get a bit crazed (I think others here have asked for political discourse to be toned down from time to time). I have asked that people refrain from insulting the religious beliefs of others -- not just mine -- everyone's, including Del's.

I would be more than pleased to discuss all sorts of religions and their place in history and relation to one another. I have taken university courses dealing with religion as an adult. There was much spirited discussion and diverse opinion. The one RULE in these classes was that you were not allowed to call ANY belief system a stupid idea. Worked quite well.

Miss Manners aside, I suspect there may be language in TOU that essentially prohibits insulting a poster on the basis of race, religion, national origin and all that. I do not plan to tolerate such insults. If you think they're cool, give it your best shot.

BTW, re personal sensibilities, didn't you have some sort of fit about some very mild sexual content, not long ago. I only mention this because I see it on your list of Miss Manners "no-nos" that we may ignore.

Eye of the beholder.....eye for an eye..... eye of newt.....aye, aye..... or, just plain old -- "I" and screw the rest! Everyone makes their own choice.
