Since all possible maps are available from the U.S. government for a small fee and their mapping software is kinda lame, have you got any explanation as to why AOL would pay "billa-bucks" for them?

... other than the obvious answer that AOL has too many billa-bucks to burn for them to bother to make sense out of their acquisitions.
