Brian, your statement to Dan was incorrect. If a consensus were to be taken on this and the board called "Jesus" your ideology would be shown to be far in the minority. Your thoughts and beliefs are far more unloving and unforgiving than what is asked of us in the New Testament. When anyone disagrees with you on this concept of salvation, you bitterly attack them, and it appears to me that you recruit the only three disciples that you have, to join you in the attack. What you do and say is one of the main causes of the lack of harmony and unity on any of the threads in which you participate. I am going to submit but a few of the scriptures that verify the type of salvation that you so bitterly oppose. These come from the word of God and, if you call them false, you are calling God and Jesus, false. "If anyone acknowledges me publicly here on earth, I will openly acknowledge that person before my Father in heaven." Matthew 11:32 "Anyone who believes in me and is baptized will be saved." Mark 16:16 " But to all who believed in Him and accepted Him, He gave the right to become the children of God." Romans 10:9 "...And when you believed in Christ, he identified you as his own by giving you the Holy Spirit, whom he promised long ago." Ephesians 1:13 "He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone." Timothy 2:6 " Yes, by God's grace, Jesus tasted death for everyone on earth." Hebrews 2:9 THERE ARE MANY,MANY MORE SCRIPTURES THAT GIVE THIS SAME PROMISE!!!
