BILL, I think IJ sees a more rapid decline in the GSM/European model than we do. From his comments and tone of voice when referencing GSM upgrade paths on the CC, I actually put my pen down from taking notes and grinned. I think he chose the best partner who would be fully committed to CDMA, specifically HDR and 1X. As I pointed out last night, he also significantly strengthened the DDI/IDO/KDD partnership in Japan. We often forget they are pitted against DoCoMo in what will probably be the first battle of the CDMA's. Cooters
