Here is a fact I do know. I ordered a computer from Dell on 12/16. They told me I should get it by 12/23. Well much to my surprise the system was in post-production on 12/17, it shipped on 12/18 and arrived on my doorstep on 12/20. It was a PIII-600. Unbelievable service.

And a Happy Holiday to you stock bull.

My reference to Greenspan adding fuel to excessiveness was due to him pumping up the money supply in fear of Y2K draining liquidity from the banking system. Suspect is that a lot of that money is finding it's way to the market's (which is always the case with liquidity). So it's not that Greenspan is purposefully fueling the stock market but he sure knows how the system works. He sees a more important factor than stopping excessiveness IMO. I further suspect he will make up for this after and if the Y2K problem has passed. Which is probably when this bubble will start to burst?

But for now it's don't fight the fed and go with the flow.
