Me? I was just following your lead!

I'm still holding some cash for the NTAP "sale". You think January will co-operate?

Actually, if we are twice as productive in 2000..
I might name my new boat "DownSouth".
Happy Holidays from a very happy lurker!

Well, at the risk of us being ridiculed as an overly warm and fuzzy tech thread,

Thanks to you DS, and Chris and others, for keeping us up to date on NTAP developments, and helping us understand some of the more arcane bits of NAS (and SAN) technology. You helped me understand just what a high-quality business NetApp is. Thank you and best holiday wishes all around.

Next year twice as productive? I sure hope so! If NTAP keeps hitting on all cylinders like this, soon enough I'll be able to give up worldly pursuits and start writing that novel.... :-)

Can we have a short semi-OT discussion on our other stock picks for the coming year? As for me, in my Y2K bunker with a bicycle-turbine powered trading station, I've started stockpiling CMGI (I see it as a very cynical play on .com stock mania), CSCO (no explanation needed), and NOK (compare valuation with QCOM and you'll become a believer too). Also holding on to my Microsoft, and doing some short-term short sales of Linux hype stocks.

NTAP-related, is anyone here invested in LGTO? I've been holding on to a couple of shares for a while now, and it's done pretty well.
