Your honesty is almost appaling! I had ceded the fact that your mistreatment of your brother was of no harm - and you come back to say, Don't be so sure about that. Whee! (You be one of the most straight folk me's ever run into.) Let me try this one on, though: "Were you married once? Do you have children? It's hard being away from family during the holidays, especially at Christmas." The serenity I deceive myself about has never never seen anything special or obligatory in our holidays, religious or not. So, in head-on objective fact, I get no special feelings around holiday time. And this is not self-deception. geo.
