Peter, I still think that 3Com is very compelling compared to the average tech stock. I did what I did because I think that techs in general are way overvalued relative to the rest of the market, and any tech correction will hit all techs to some degree. I did not buy puts or resorted to other methods to protect my position because I am moving away from techs to other areas too mundane to even mention here (how would the thread react if I said utilities and bonds?)
