Skeets, When my family moved to Fremont in 1956, it had a population of 5,000. It hadn't been a city for long and I thought we were moving to Centerville. <g> The districts aren't so distinct now, but there was a huge difference between Centerville, Irvington, Niles, Mission San Jose and Warm Springs back in those days. I used to get in fights with kids from Irvington. I almost pulled a dumb one once. But violence has always been a last resort and I didn't hit the kid at the Me and Eds Pizza Parlor. A couple of years later when I saw Jerry Quarry knock out Ernie Shaver (who had just knocked out Ken Norton a few weeks earlier and knocked down champion Larry Holmes 6 months earlier), I was glad I prevented him from damaging his valuable hands on my hard head. <g>
