3. Why can't NOK hire Qualcomm Engineers:
Options, when I was offered a job there the # of
options was 3000. That was before the '99 2-1 split,
so, if I had gone there I would be vesting, oh, a
cool $3 million over 4 years. Now let me think, shall I
step over to NOK and start the clock? Walking away from
1.5 million. Recruiters getting $120K, that is not the issue.
The engineers have to want to switch. Will NOK stock
continue appreciating?

Another factor is that an engineering team takes some time to meld
and become effective.

And the rate for the takeover of engineers is quite a bit higher in this industry,
intel paid 10x $1,000,000 for each DSP engineer.
