Hi Katie,

It would only be fun for those with a short position.

My top pick for 2000: ORCL -- after being ignored by Wall Street for 3 years, suddenly "discovered" about 3 months ago. Their story's been the same all along. Herd mentality and continued great sales/earnings will continue making it a winner.

Runner up picks: RSAS(internet security software), ALLR (web site development software), MANU (business management software - sales were creamed this year because IT budgets had to address legacy Y2K software)

I'll be anxiously awaiting the results 372 days from now !

Regards,
Chris

PS -- haven't picked a big loser yet, but it's certain to be some high flying OTCBB stock !

I thought "that" was too much work!

The biggest loser is the same as the top short sale, except you don't have to look for up-ticks. I think for biggest loser you should start with the bid and measure to the asked.

I'll post after I read the rest of these.

Great thread, but would anyone really post a great idea that they were not already positioned in?

Edit: KK: for Oratec and similar IPO picks, you need to set an "in at" policy, like the opening trade price, not the IPO price. That would make it an unlikely winner if its perceived prospects are great!

And, if you change rules, newcomers will read the header, and need to know where to look for updates.
