John, Given that AG eased and tightened at the right times in 1987-1990, as you yourself acknowledge, I am surprised to see that you do not have more trust in his abilities. Also, I think that the Dollar is doing extremely well when measured against the Euro, and quite well even when measured against the Yen, as the measurement is against a weak Yen of the '90s, the product of the Japanese recession. So, I see no reason to criticize this Fed's stewardship of the Dollar. -BGR.
